Historic Landmark No. 1485 Community Kensington Park Designated Jan. 26, 2023 |
The Carl C. Sharp Spec House is an excellent example of a 1929 Spanish Colonial Revival style residence and exemplifies the style by exhibiting the architecturally defining parabolic arch, wood-framed and fixed pane picture window in the front gable facing Kensington Drive. The Mission half barrel roof tops walls of original wall stucco, including the stucco walled front patio wall pierced by a wrought metal gate. The East elevation is visible along the driveway and exhibits the tapered stucco chimney flanked by casement windows. |
